How will my goods be transported – by sea, air, or land?

Rest assured, your goods will be transported by sea. Through our years of experience, we have found this to be the most efficient and cost-effective method for moving furniture and household items. All moves from Ireland to the UK will be handled by our reliable 18T 11M Vehicles, which are perfectly suited for both partial and full house moves.

Do my belongings stay on the truck throughout the entire journey?

In most cases, we strive to keep your goods on the truck throughout the entire journey. However, there may be instances where this is not possible. If your delivery is not scheduled immediately after collection, we may need to offload your goods into our secure storage facility. Depending on the length of your storage, there may be additional fees. If access to your delivery address is challenging, we may need to send a smaller vehicle to ensure smooth entry to your property. In rare cases where we are exceptionally busy or the delivering vehicle requires servicing, we may need to use an alternative vehicle.

What happens during overnight stops, if any?

During the transport of your goods from Ireland to the UK, there may be overnight stops. In such cases, our porter will sleep in the back of the vehicle alongside your goods. Rest assured, the doors will be securely locked with a padlock, and the side doors will be locked with tie INS. It is highly unlikely for anyone other than our porter or driver to have access to your goods. If someone were to attempt unauthorized access, we would be immediately alerted.

How far in advance should I book my removal?

For a smooth and stress-free relocation to Ireland, we recommend starting your planning and research at least 2-3 months in advance. This allows you ample time to secure your preferred moving date, effectively manage your budget, and thoroughly plan and organize your move. Booking in advance also gives you the opportunity to compare quotes, allocate funds for additional services, create a checklist, and begin packing early. Remember, early planning is the key to a successful and hassle-free relocation.

Can I travel with you?

Unfortunately, we are unable to accommodate passengers in our lorries. There are no available seats, and it is strictly prohibited for anyone to be in the back of the vehicle while it is in motion. This is a safety measure to ensure the integrity of our insurance policies.
